From 1990. the Estonian Travel and Tourism Association annually announces the best tourism attraction and since 1992 also the best tourism promoter, in order to make the general public aware of the important role played by the tourism industry in the Republic of Estonia and to publicly acknowledge successful tourism projects and individuals. The nominee for the title of “Best Tourism Object” must be well known, have prestige in the tourism market, and provide impeccable customer service. The choice is also influenced by the novelty of the service (product), originality, good marketing, a qualitative leap in improving service levels, etc. Professionalism, based on international experience, also plays a key role in the selection process when dealing with tourism businesses.

As Akay Travel Service we are attending Balttour Riga. The travel trade fair Balttour is the leading tourism industry event in the Baltic States. It is a meeting place for tourism professionals who want to present travel itineraries and destinations, search for new cooperation partners and look for an opportunity to conclude good deals with clients. Among exhibitors are hoteliers, tourism organisations, agencies, transport companies and tour operators. The exposition is divided in two thematically different parts — one for the offer of Latvia’s districts and cities, the other for international and national displays, tour operators, hotels, tourism organisations, agencies, transport service and financial service providers. Balttour also includes various conferences, seminars and competitions. The Balttour will take place on 3 days from Friday, 02. February to Sunday, 04. February 2024 in Riga.

Every year in March the world of international tourism gathers at the largest travel trade show, ITB Berlin.
Together with MICE Show Asia and Travel Tech Asia, the B2B trade show and conference ITB Asia, the leading trade show for the entire Asian travel market, is organised every year in October in Singapore.
ITB China, which focuses on the Chinese B2B travel market, takes place together with the ITB China Conference annually in May.
This year ITB has opened its section for Medical Health Tourism as well.
